Aliaskhab Khizriev’s UFC debut has been rebooked, as the undefeated Russian will now fight Kyle Daukaus at the promotion’s April 10th event. The matchup was confirmed by the promotion on Tuesday.
The fight joins a UFC “Fight Night” card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Khizriev will be returning after earning a UFC contract on “Dana White’s Contender Series” in September. His contract-earning performance lasted less than a minute, as he submitted Henrique Shiguemoto with a rear naked choke.
Khizriev had 12 pro wins prior to his “Contender Series” fight.
Khizreiv was originally scheduled to make his UFC debut in February, although plans changed after his opponent, Wellington Turman, suffered “atypical pneumonia.”
Daukaus will be returning to the UFC cage for the third time. The former CFFC Middleweight Champion earned his first promotional win in November, fighting to a unanimous decision win against Dustin Stoltzfus.
