COVID-19 Postpones Jamahal Hill vs. Paul Craig, Removes Fight From March 20th UFC Card

A light heavyweight fight between Paul Craig and Jamahal Hill has been removed from UFC’s March 20th event and booted to a later date. The change for the fight comes due to Hill suffering COVID-19, per a statement he provided on Tuesday.

The fight was scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The new date for the event is not known at the moment.

Hill took to social media to talk about his COVID-19 symptoms.

“I started out with a fever, I’ve been dealing with all type of symptoms ever since then,” said Hill via Instagram. He stressed that he didn’t want to lose his fight against Craig, and instead move it to a later date.

Hill was looking to continue his undefeated run as a pro on March 20th. The light heavyweight prospect has picked up two wins since joining the UFC in 2019. His last fight was in December, where he stopped Ovince St. Preux with strikes.

Craig will enter his next bout looking for his third consecutive win. He picked up two victories last year, defeating Gadzhimurad Antigulov and Mauricio Rua.

UFC’s March 20th card currently has a fight between Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland booked for the main event.
