Nasrat Haqparast has been given a new opponent for UFC’s March 13th card, now being matched against UFC newcomer Rafa Garcia. The new lightweight matchup was first reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of Milenio and has since been publicly confirmed by the UFC.
The fight joins a “Fight Night” card from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Garcia will be taking the place of Don Madge, who had to withdraw from his fight against Haqparast after visa issues prevented him from entering the United States.
Garcia joins the UFC roster after 12-fight undefeated run as a pro. He fought frequently in Combate Americas in recent years, putting together eight wins in the promotion. He defeated former UFC fighter Humberto Bandernay in his last fight, winning via decision in a five-round championship fight.
Haqparast will be returning after earning a decision win against Alex Munoz in his last appearance.
