Jacare Souza will look to snap a three-fight losing streak when paired against Andre Muniz at UFC’s May 15th pay-per-view event, per a report from Marcelo Barone and Raphael Marinho of Combate.
The fight joins UFC 262, which is currently scheduled to take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA.
Souza, a former Strikeforce Champion, has been out of the win column since 2018. His last fight was in December, where rising middleweight Kevin Holland stopped him within two minutes with strikes.
Souza’s previous losses came against Jan Blachowicz and Jack Hermansson in 2019.
Souza has a tough opponent in the matchup, as Muniz is currently undefeated in his UFC run. He earned his second promotional win in September, submitting Bartosz Fabinski within a round with an armbar.
