UFC’s upcoming April 10th card has received a change in the lineup, as promotional newcomer Erin Blanchfield has stepped in to fight Norma Dumont in a bantamweight bout. Blanchfield is taking the place of Bea Malecki, who has withdrawn from the fight, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie on Thursday.
The new matchup joins UFC’s “Fight Night” card from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Blanchfield is getting the call-up to the UFC after a seven-fight run on the regional scene. She has won her has three fights on the. picking up stoppage wins in notable promotions Invicta FC and CFFC.
Blanchfield’s last win was in July, where she fought to a unanimous decision win against Brogan Sanchez.
Dumont will look to build off a decision win she took against Ashlee Evans-Smith in November. The win was her first since entering the UFC earlier in the year.
UFC’s April 10th lineup currently has a pending main event, as the promotion is searching for a short-notice opponent to replace Darren Till in a bout against Marvin Vettori. Without the main event in the lineup momentarily, here’s how the card looks.
