Bellator 255 lost a bout on Thursday, as a welterweight bout between Mukhamed Berkhamov and Herman Terrado was removed from the event’s preliminary card.
The fight was scheduled to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
The cancelled bout comes after Berkhamov missed weight for the fight by nearly three pounds on Thursday. Terrado also appeared at the weigh-ins, making weight for their bout.
Berkhamov was looking to make his Bellator debut after putting together an 11-fight win streak as a pro. He was originally scheduled to fight Jordan Mein, although Terrado stepped in as a short-notice replacement.
Terrado was scheduled to compete for the first time since 2018. His last fights were in PFL’s inaugural season.
Bellator 255 now has 12 fights in total. The main event of the card sees Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Pitbull fight Emmanuel Sanchez in a semi-final bout of the promotion’s featherweight grand prix.
