Lead Card (8:30PM EDT / 8:30AM SGT) (B/R Live)

Bout 1: Nieky Holzken vs. John Wayne Parr (178 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)

Decorated kickboxer John Wayne Parr will make his ONE Championship debut when fighting Nieky Holzken in a Muay Thai bout. Parr, now 44-years-old, will be returning to striking after being absent from the scene in 2020. His last fight was under boxing rules, as he defeated Anthony Mundine via split decision in 2019.

Parr’s last kickboxing bout was earlier in 2019, where he lost to Danilo Zanolini on a RIZIN card. The fight saw Parr in search of his 100th pro victory.

Holzken will be returning for his sixth appearance in ONE. His last fight saw him score his first stoppage since joining the promotion, as he finished Elliot Compton in just over a minute in a kickboxing bout last year.

Bout 2: Ryuto Sawada (14-5-1) vs. Miao Li Tao (5-3) (125 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Ryuto Sawada and Miao Li Tao will meet for the second time during Wednesday’s “Lead Card.” The first fight between Miao and Sawada was in late 2020, where Sawada scored a decision win.

Sawada has earned another win since then, submitting Robin Catalan with a first-round rear naked choke this year.

Bout 3: Marat Gafurov (18-3) vs. Ok Rae Yoon (13-3) (170 lbs) (MMA Bout)

A welterweight bout between Marat Gafurov and Ok Rae Yoon will be the third and final bout of the “Lead Card.” The winner of the bout will presumably fight Eddie Alvarez on next week’s episode, as he is currently billed to fight either Gafurov or Ok.

Gafurov, a former champion in ONE, scored his first win in the 170-pound weight class late last year, fighting to a decision win over previously undefeated fighter Lowen Tynanes.

Ok will be making his ONE debut on the card. He enters the promotion after scoring two wins on the regional scene in South Korea last year.

Main Card (10:00PM EDT / 10:00AM SGT) (TNT)

Bout 4: Yuya Wakamatsu (13-4) vs. Reece McLaren (14-7) (135 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Win streaks in the 135-pound division will be wagered in the opening bout of the main card when Yuya Wakamatsu faces Reece McLaren.

Wakamatsu added a third win to his current streak in the Fall, stopping Kim Kyu Sung in the second minute of a fight with strikes. It was his first appearance in a year, as his two prior wins in the streak came in 2019.

McLaren’s last two appearances in the ONE cage have resulted in first-round stoppage wins. The former title challenger became the first person to defeat Aleksi Toivonen late last year, stopping him in the first round with strikes.

Bout 5: John Lineker (33-9) vs. Troy Worthen (7-1) (145 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Former UFC fighter John Lineker will look to extend his undefeated run in ONE thus far when fighting Troy Worthen in the main event of ONE on TNT 3.

Lineker joined ONE championship in 2019, wrapping up his 16-fight run in the UFC. He started his career with a decision win, defeating Muin Gafurov. Returning a year later, Lineker picked up a stoppage victory against Kevin Belingon in 2020. He now has the chance to earn his third ONE win when fighting Worthen.

Worthen will be fighting to return to the win column after taking his first pro loss last year to Yusup Saadulaev. The 28-year-old had an explosive run in ONE prior to then, picking up three wins since joining the roster in 2019. A win for him on Wednesday, while a big challenge on paper, would give him the biggest victory of his career and would be an emphatic return to his winning ways.
