Middleweights Dricus Du Plessis and Trevin Giles are being matched for UFC’s July 10th pay-per-view event, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins UFC 264, which is set to happen at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Du Plessis and Giles were first set to fight in March, although Du Plessis had to withdraw from that bout on short notice. Giles was still able to compete in his booking, as he defeated short-notice opponent Roman Dolidze to extend his win streak to three consecutive bouts.
Du Plessis will also enter July’s bout following three straight wins, although not all of them come from the UFC. The first two bouts in the streak saw him earn stoppage wins in notable promotions KSW and EFC Worldwide.
The 27-year-old’s last fight was his UFC debut, where he stopped Markus Perez in the first round with punches.
