Aiming to return after taking his first MMA loss, Rodolfo Vieira will fight Dustin Stoltzfus at UFC’s July 17th card, as first reported by Mike Heck and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The new matchup joins a card that does not have a location known for it currently.
Vieira’s first pro loss came through an upset in February, where huge underdog Anthony Hernandez submitted him in the second round with a guillotine choke.
Vieira, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist, had previously attained two consecutive submission wins in the UFC.
He now fights Stoltzfus, who is looking to earn his first UFC win. He lost his UFC debut in November, dropping a fight on scorecards to Kyle Daukaus. Prior to then, he had 10 consecutive wins on the regional scene.
UFC’s July 17th event does not have a main event confirmed for it currently. Here’s what has been already reported for the event.
