Bellator’s roster has seen another large wave of departures, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
Bellator has reportedly parted ways with Yannick Bahati, Mandy Bohm, Justin Burlinson, Claudio Conti, Ruben Crawford, Zach Freeman, Will Fleury, Constantin Gnusariev, Malin Hermansson, Jade Jorand, AJ Matthews, Karl Moore, Pietro Penini, Giorgio Pietrini and Bobby Voelker.
The reason for the fighters leaving the roster, whether it be getting cut, their contract expiring or other reasons is not known at the time of reporting.
The majority of the names reported are fighters who competed under Bellator’s European shows. Their European roster took another hit last month, as names like Cal Ellenor, Frans Mlambo, Arbu Mezhidov and Richie Smullen left the lineup.
Matthews is the most experienced fighter in the pack to part ways with Bellator. He had competed under Bellator for the majority of his career, fighting 12 times from 2011 to 2019. His run in the promotion has ended after losing five of his last six.
Another notable name to leave the roster is Voelker, who is an experienced fighter and a former UFC competitor. He leaves Bellator after a loss to Sabah Homasi last year.
