Bellator will return to hosting live crowds next month, planning to sell limited tickets to their June 11th and 25th events at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Tickets for both events will go on sale on Friday, per a press release sent out by the promotion Wednesday.
Bellator 260, which is set to happen on June 11th, will be the promotion’s first event in the U.S. with a live crowd since February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Welterweight champ Douglas Lima will headline the card in a fight against undefeated contender Yaroslav Amosov.
Heavyweights Timothy Johnson and Valentin Moldavsky are scheduled to compete for the Interim Bellator Heavyweight Championship at Bellator 261.
Bellator has utilized the Mohegan Sun Arena as their U.S. bubble venue amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. They have produced 15 events at the venue behind closed doors, with another one planned for May 21st.
Bellator has only done one previous event in front of a live crowd in the pandemic, holding a card in Paris, France in October.
