Veteran UFC fighter Tim Means is set to fight returning welterweight Danny Roberts at the promotion’s June 19th event. Means confirmed the matchup earlier this week via social media.
The matchup joins a card that is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The fight will be Roberts’ first appearance in the cage since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. His last fight was in late 2019, where he scored a second-round stoppage win against Zelim Imadaev.
Roberts has been part of the UFC roster since 2015 and has a promotional record of six wins and four losses.
Means is entering the fight after picking up two scorecard victories last year. The UFC vet of nearly a decade went the distance last year against Laureano Staropoli and Mike Perry, being favoured by judges via unanimous decision in both instances.
