Six fights have recently joined Bellator’s schedule (Bellator)

Bellator’s two upcoming events in June have received numerous new bouts recently. Six fights in total have joined Bellator’s June schedule, including four matchups for their June 11th card.

Here’s a roundup of all the new matchups that are set to happen at Bellator’s upcoming shows. All of the new bookings are set to happen at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.

Four Fights Join Bellator 260

Four new bouts have joined the Bellator lineup. Many of the fights see Bellator prospects returning after taking their first loss in the promotion in their prior fight.

Attempting to come back from his first pro loss, former LFA champ Alex Polizzi has been matched against Gustavo Trujillo for a light heavyweight bout.

Polizzi had his undefeated record stopped in November, as Julius Anglickas defeated him via unanimous decision. The fight was Polizzi’s second victory since joining Bellator.

Trujillo had a quick showing in his last fight on the regional scene, stopping Emmanuel Verdier in just 35 seconds in July.

Levan Chokheli will make his Bellator debut when fighting Kyle Crutchmer. Chokheli, a 24-year-old from Georgia, has picked up nine consecutive wins since turning pro in 2016.

He fights Crutchmer, who suffered his first pro loss to Kemran Lachinov in October. Crutchmer had previously earned two wins in Bellator.

Taylor Johnson will fight to return to the win column when facing Lance Wright in a middleweight fight.

Johnson’s first Bellator loss was in October, where Johnny Eblen was given the nod by judges. Just a month before then, Johnson scored an impressive heel hook win over Ed Ruth in under a minute.

Wright is getting the call-up to Bellator after six fights on the regional scene. His five pro wins include many quick performances that finished with a submission.

A featherweight fight between Aaron Pico and Aiden Lee has been given a new date, now taking place at Bellator 260. The fight was first reported for April but was later pulled from a lineup.

Pico is on a three-fight winning streak of finish performances. Most recently, he stopped John de Jesus with an overhand punch in November.

Lee has competed three times on Bellator’s European cards, earning two wins and one loss. His last fight saw him score a head kick victory over Jeremy Petley in September.

Edwards vs. Parrish Re-Booked, Weichel To Face Undefeated Diggs

A light heavyweight bout between Christian Edwards and Ben Parrish has been given a new date, now expected to take place at Bellator 261 on June 25th, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

The light heavyweight fight was first set to happen in May but was removed from a card the day before it was scheduled to happen after Edwards was not able to pass a medical test.

Edwards has spent his entire four-fight pro career in Bellator, where he has earned three stoppage victories.

Parrish also has four wins but will be aiming to return after suffering a loss in 2019 due to injury.

Undefeated featherweight Keoni Diggs will look to move his record to double digits when facing Daniel Weichel at Bellator 261.

Diggs last competed on a Bellator card in September, where he secured a rear naked choke victory over Derek Campos in the closing seconds of the third round. His previous fight, which was his Bellator debut, was also a submission win.

Weichel, a veteran of Bellator, has lost three of his last five fights. He last fought in November, where he lost on scorecards against Emmanuel Sanchez.
