Three Fights Join UFC’s July 24th ‘Fight Night’ Card

UFC’s July 24th “Fight Night” card has received three new bouts recently. The fights join a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Cachoeira Looks To Extend Win Streak Against Eubanks

In the hunt for her third consecutive victory, Priscila Cachoeira will face Sijara Eubanks in a bantamweight bout. The fight was first reported by Zeca Azevedo and Raphael Marinho of Combate.

Coming back from a three-fight skid that she developed in 2018 and 2019, Cachoeira has earned two stoppage wins as of late. After stopping Shana Dobson with strikes early in 2020 and stopping Gina Mazany at UFC 262 last month, Cachoeira has the chance to earn her third win in her next bout.

On the flipside, Eubanks will be fighting to avoid taking her third straight loss. The UFC veteran was on the losing side of decisions against Ketlen Vieira and Pannie Kianzad last year.

Phillips and Else Search For First UFC Win

Both searching for their first UFC win, Aaron Phillips and Cameron Else will fight on the card, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Else made his UFC debut on short notice last year, stepping in for Danaa Batgerel to fight Kyler Phillips. Else was stopped early in the second round of the fight by strikes, ending a six-fight win streak that he earned on the regional scene.

Similarly, Phillips made his UFC debut last summer to fill in for Anderson dos Santos in a bout against Jack Shore. Phillips was submitted in the second round of the fight.

The fight was the start of Phillips’ second UFC run, as he competed in the promotion twice in 2014 as well.

Rising Heavyweight Daukaus Matched Against Abdurakhimov

Heavyweights are expected to be seen on the July 24th card, as a fight between Chris Daukaus and Shamil Abdurakhimov has been booked for the event. News of the fight was first broken by Alfredo Zullino of BJPenn.com earlier this week.

Daukaus has quickly gained momentum since joining the UFC roster last year. He currently has three first-round finish wins, including a recent victory over veteran Aleksei Oleinik.

Abdurakhimov will be appearing for the first time in over a year. He last appeared in September of 2019, where Curtis Blaydes stopped him in the second round, calling an end to a three-fight win streak that he had built up.
