Flashy welterweight Michel Pereira will return to the cage to face Niko Price at UFC’s July 10th pay-per-view event, per a report from Diego Ribas of AgFight.
The new fight to join UFC 264 is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Coming back from a two-fight skid, Pereira started to put together a win streak in late 2020. He first returned to the win column in September, where he finished a dominant performance over Zelim Imadaev in the third round with a rear naked choke.
Pereira most recently fought on the last UFC card of 2020 to earn a unanimous decision victory over Khaos Williams.
Price will be attempting to return to his winning ways after being having a winless 2020.
Price competed on UFC’s first event back during the COVID-19 pandemic in May of 2020, losing to Vicente Luque due to an eye injury that developed throughout the fight and significantly worsened in the third round.
The 31-year-old last fought in September, where he took a draw against UFC veteran Donald Cerrone. That ruling has since been overturned to a no contest due to a drug test done by the Nevada State Athletic Commission that detected marijuana.
