Two-time PFL champ Lance Palmer and Movlid Khaybulaev won’t be competing on Thursday night, as they have been pulled from their bookings and matched for the promotion’s June 25th card.
The change in PFL’s programming was announced by the promotion on Wednesday.
Palmer was originally set to fight on June 10th against former CFFC fighter Jesse Stirn. Khaybulaev was matched against Sheymon Moraes, who was returning after a stoppage loss in his previous fight.
With Palmer and Khaybulaev out of the lineup, Stirn and Moraes have been matched for Thursday’s show.
It is not known at the moment why these changes were made.
The bout is the second from June 10th to get moved ahead, as a fight between Anthony Pettis and Raush Manfio is also expected to take place late this month.
PFL’s event on Thursday night now has nine bouts in total. The featherweight and lightweight divisions will have four bouts each, with a special bout between boxer Claressa Shields and Brittney Elkin taking place in the main event.
