Attempting to continue her undefeated run in the UFC, flyweight Tracy Cortez will face JJ Aldrich at UFC’s August 28th “Fight Night” event. News of the fight was first reported by Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a growing lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Cortez has yet to lose since joining the UFC roster in 2019. She scored her third win in the promotion two months back, fighting to a split decision victory over Justine Kish.
The 27-year-old is now on a nine-fight win streak in total, as she has yet to lose since dropping a bout in her pro debut.
Aldrich returned to the win column in her last showing, earning a split decision win against Cortney Casey this year. The fight was her fifth win since joining the UFC in 2016.
UFC’s August 28th card doesn’t have a main event at the moment. Here are the fights that have been reported for the show so far.
