Combate Global has secured a home for English broadcasts in the U.S. moving forward, reaching a multi-year deal with CBS broadcasting.
The new deal for Combate Global was first reported by Ariel Helwani on Tuesday.
Combate Global is set to make its debut broadcast on June 25th on U.S. TV channel CBS Sports Network. The promotion will then move to the internet streaming service Paramount+, which will be the home for all broadcasts starting on July 9th.
Combate Global has been airing a weekly TV series of live fights since re-launching in early April. The in-studio series has been accessible in the U.S. through channels Univision and TUDN, which have offered Spanish broadcasts of the program.
The promotion previously operated under the name “Combate Americas,” and held events from 2013 to 2020.
Combate Global has previously had English broadcasting deals with streaming service DAZN and TV channel AXS TV.
