Dustin Jacoby has a new opponent for his August 28th booking, now fighting Darren Stewart on a UFC “Fight Night” card. He will replace Askar Mozharov, per a report from Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
The new matchup lands on a UFC card that does not have a confirmed location currently.
Stewart will be fighting to earn his first win in over a year. He has been unsuccessful in his past three appearances, losing two via decision and one via no contest.
His last bout was in June, losing a unanimous decision to Eryk Anders.
Jacoby has been undefeated since re-joining the UFC roster last year. After defeating Justin Ledet and Maxim Grishin in the first two fights of his current UFC stint, Jacoby fought to a split draw against Ion Cutelaba in May.
It is not known currently why Mozharov has withdrawn from his matchup. Now out of the lineup for August, the promotional debut for the Ukrainian fighter will have to wait longer.
