Flyweights Maryna Moroz and Luana Carolina will battle at UFC’s October 16th card, per a report from Raphael Marinho of Combate.
The new matchup joins a “Fight Night” card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Moroz has been out of the cage for over a year now due to numerous bookings falling through. Her last fight was in March of 2020, where she earned a unanimous decision victory over Mayra Bueno Silva.
Moroz has fought in the UFC since 2015 and currently holds a promotional record of five wins and three losses.
Carolina earned her first win since 2019 two months back, fighting to a split decision over Poliana Botelho. Before then, she had earned a win and a loss in her UFC run.
There is no main event set for UFC’s October 16th show currently. The only other fight booked for it at the moment is a bout between Ludovit Klein and Nate Landwehr.
