Former Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima will face Michael Page in a rematch on October 1st, headlining what will be Bellator’s long-awaited return to the SSE Arena in London, England.

Bellator announced the full card on Tuesday. The event is set to be the promotion’s first event in the country since 2019.

Lima and Page first faced off in 2019 as part of an eight-man welterweight tournament that Bellator had organized. The bout resulted in Page’s sole pro loss, as Lima caught him in the second round by tripping him with a leg kick then knocking him out with an uppercut.

Page had an undefeated record of 14 pro wins before his loss. He has since stacked up five more victories, including a stoppage victory over Derek Anderson from May.

Page has been vocal over the past year about wanting a rematch against Lima. While not naming him specifically following his last win, Page said he wanted to avenge his sole loss in May.

Lima is taking the fight after losing his 170-pound belt to Yaroslav Amosov earlier this year. The bout concluded his third stint as champion in the promotion.

10-Fight Card Revealed

Bellator’s announcement on Wednesday included 10 fights in total for their London card.

Former UFC fighter Robert Whiteford and English fighter Andre Fisher are currently listed to face off in the second-highest bout of the show. Fisher won his return to Bellator last year, defeating Ashleigh Grimshaw on a card in Italy.

Returning after a flying knee stoppage in his Bellator debut last year, Yves Landu will fight Tim Wilde.

Undefeated light heavyweight Luke Trainer is also set to appear on the main card, facing Yannick Bahati.

Uros Jurisic will return for his second Bellator fight on the prelims when facing Lewis Long. Jurisic won his Bellator debut against Walter Gahadza in October. He then moved to KSW to one fight, where he lost a decision to Shamil Musaev.
