A previously scrapped meeting between Aspen Ladd and Macy Chiasson now has a new date, as it is being targeted as a bantamweight fight for UFC’s October 2nd card. News of the matchup was initially reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes.
The fight is set to join a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Ladd and Chiasson were originally set to fight at UFC’s July 24th event, however, they were pulled from that lineup on short notice due to an injury on Chiasson’s side.
The fight was scheduled to be Ladd’s return after over a year outside of the cage. Her last win was in late 2019, where she defeated Yana Kunitskaya.
Chiasson is currently on a two-fight win streak, including a decision win she earned over Marion Reneau four months ago.
