2019 PFL Heavyweight Champion Philipe Lins will go down a weight class when fighting Ovince St. Preux at UFC’s November 13th event, per a report put out by Nolan King and John Morgan of MMA Junkie.
The fight is the first to be reported for a November 13th date. The card it joins does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Lins’ two previous fights in the UFC have come at heavyweight, where he has lost to Andrei Arlovski and Tanner Boser.
A long string of cancelled bouts has kept Lins out of the cage for over a year.
Like Lins, St. Preux will be fighting to snap a two-fight skid. Ironically, St. Preux moved up to heavyweight for his last fight, taking a short-notice fight against Tanner Boser after Maxim Grishin had to withdraw from their fight.
Boser was able to stop St. Preux in the second round of their fight. St. Preux was stopped in his prior appearance as well, getting finished by Jamahal Hill in December.
