After their first meeting ended in an unsatisfying no contest, lightweights Mason Jones and Alan Patrick will face off yet again at UFC’s October 23rd card. News of the booking was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate.
The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
The first fight between Jones and Patrick came to an end in the second round due to an unintentional eye poke landed by Jones. He was leading the fight prior to the stoppage, hurting Patrick with strikes in the opening frame.
The fight was Patrick’s chance to snap a two-fight losing streak. In October he will be looking for his first win since 2018.
Jones is still on the hunt for his first UFC win. The former Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion joined the promotion early this year with an undefeated record of 10 wins.
Middleweights Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori are currently expected to headline UFC’s October 23rd card. Here is how the show looks at the moment.
