Bellator’s August 20th card lost their co-main event on Thursday, as undefeated featherweight prospect Jay Jay Wilson missed weight for his fight by over four pounds.

Wilson was scheduled to face Adam Borics in the co-main event of Bellator 265. The bout was a matchup between two of the biggest 145-pound fighters in the promotion, with the winner likely being the next title challenger.

The bout was set to take place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA.

Wilson was entering Friday with a record of eight pro wins since debuting in 2018. Of those victories, seven have come via stoppage.

Borics came into the weekend with a three-fight win streak through recent Bellator appearances.

Friday’s Bellator card now has nine bouts in total. The card is currently set to be headlined by heavyweight veterans Cheick Kongo and Sergei Kharitonov.
