Coming back after a successful UFC debut earlier this year, Tucker Lutz could have Lando Vannata as his next opponent. The promotion is currently looking to make the fight for their November 13th event, per a report from Damon Martin of MMA Fighting on Wednesday.
Should the matchup be made official, it would join a card that does not have a location currently.
Lutz won his UFC debut in May, defeating Kevin Aguilar via unanimous decision at UFC 262. The fight extended his win streak to 11 consecutive – a streak that includes two wins on the 2020 season of UFC TV show “The Ultimate Fighter.”
Vannata is also coming off a win, having fought to a split decision victory over Mike Grundy in May. The fight was his fourth win through 11 appearances in the promotion.
Few fights are currently known for UFC’s November 13th event. It was recently reported that the UFC was looking to book featherweights Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez in the main event of the card. Here’s how the lineup looks tentatively:
Bout 3: Max Holloway (22-6) vs. Yair Rodriguez (13-2) (Featherweight)
Bout 2: Philipe Lins (14-5) vs. Ovince St. Preux (25-16) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 1: Lando Vannata (12-5-2) vs. Tucker Lutz (12-1) (Featherweight)
