Jack Shore has received yet another opponent for his September 4th booking, now scheduled to meet “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant Liudvik Sholinian at bantamweight. Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA first reported the change.
The new matchup joins a card that is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
It was reported just two days ago that undefeated LFA Bantamweight Champion Zviad Lazishvili would be Shore’s new opponent. He has since withdrawn from the fight due to injury.
Lazishvili was stepping in for Said Nurmagomedov, who was the original opponent for Shore.
Sholinian was a semi-finalist on the most recent season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” He defeated Mitch Raposo in the opening round of the bracket, then lost to Ricky Turcios in a three-round battle for a shot in the late-August grand finals.
Before being on “TUF,” Sholinian put together a strong pro record of nine wins, one loss and one draw.
Now with a new opponent, Shore will look for his third UFC victory. The former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion defeated Aaron Phillips and Hunter Azure in his previous appearances for the promotion.
