Heavyweights Ben Rothwell and Marcos Rogerio de Lima are expected to meet at UFC’s November 13th event, per a report from Steven Marrocco and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Rothwell, a UFC veteran of over a decade, will be hunting for his milestone 10th win in the promotion. His promotional record currently sits at nine wins and seven losses.
Rothwell last fought in May, submitting UFC newcomer Chris Barnett in the second round with a guillotine choke.
Rogerio de Lima is also coming off a recent win, having defeated Maurice Greene in May. The 36-year-old heavyweight has alternated between wins and losses since 2014 – a successful outing in November would be his first time scoring two consecutive wins since joining the UFC seven years ago.
UFC is currently looking to book featherweights Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez in the main event of their November 13th card. Here is how the card looks now.
Bout 4: Max Holloway (22-6) vs. Yair Rodriguez (13-2) (Featherweight)
Bout 3: Philipe Lins (14-5) vs. Ovince St. Preux (25-16) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 2: Lando Vannata (12-5-2) vs. Tucker Lutz (12-1) (Featherweight)
Bout 1: Ben Rothwell (39-13) vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima (18-7-1) (Heavyweight)
