A previously reported matchup between Ariane Lipski and Mandy Bohm has been moved ahead a few weeks and is now expected to happen at UFC’s September 18th card. News of the change was first reported by Guilherme Cruz and Alexander K. Lee of MMA Fighting.
The fight joins a card that is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Lipski and Bohm were first scheduled to meet on September 4th. The reason for rescheduling is Bohm getting “COVID-19-like symptoms.”
While Bohm never took a COVID-19 test, she has been in isolation and plans on getting tested soon.
Lipski’s first booking saw her come in on short notice to replace Taila Santos. Now with a couple more weeks to plan for her fight, Lipski will look to break a two-fight losing streak.
Lipski was finished in her two previous bouts, losing to Antonina Shevchenko and Montana De La Rosa.
The new date is set to be Bohm’s promotional debut. The undefeated prospect has attained seven wins since turning pro in 2016. Her last fight was on a Bellator card, where she defeated Griet Eeckhout on scorecards.
