Tristan Connelly Withdrawn From UFC 267 Bout Against Makwani Amirkhani Due To Undisclosed Reasons

UFC’s October 30th pay-per-view card has lost a fight, as Tristan Connelly has withdrawn from his featherweight bout against Makwan Amirkhani.

The fight was set to happen at UFC 267, which will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. News of Connelly’s departure was first reported by Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.

It is not known currently why Connelly withdrew from his fight. It is also unknown at the moment whether Amirkhani will get a new opponent for the date.

The fight was set to be Connelly’s chance to bounce back from his first UFC loss, which came against Pat Sabatini in April.

Amirkhani is on a two-fight losing streak, having dropped scorecards to Edson Barboza and Kamuela Kirk recently.

A fight between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira is currently set to headline the card.
