A winner from the ongoing season of “Dana White’s Contender Series” is already booked for their next fight.
Azamat Murzakanov, one of the winners on the season five premiere, will face Marcin Prachnio at UFC’s November 20th event, per an announcement made by the promotion earlier this week.
The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Murzakanov was given a UFC contract after scoring a first-round win over Matheus Scheffel. He stopped the fellow light heavyweight in the third minute, dropping him with a right hook.
The win boosted Murzakanov’s undefeated pro record to 10 consecutive victories.
He now faces Prachnio, who will look to build upon a successful 2021. The former ONE Championship fighter broke a three-fight skid early this year, picking up his first UFC victory when defeating Khalil Rountree.
Prachnio’s most recent win was in June, where he put away Ike Villanueva in the second round with strikes.
