Former Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion Ian Garry will make his UFC debut at the promotion’s November 6th pay-per-view event, taking on Jordan Williams. The new 170-pound matchup was confirmed earlier this week by the UFC.
The fight joins UFC 268, which is set to happen at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, USA.
Garry is getting the UFC call-up after an undefeated seven-fight run in Cage Warriors. He made his pro debut for them in 2019 and scored five stoppage victories in his time there.
Garry claimed the promotion’s vacant welterweight bout just three months back, going five rounds against Jack Grant for a unanimous decision victory.
Williams will be looking to earn his first UFC win. He has fought twice in the octagon, losing to Nassourdine Imavov and Mickey Gall during his rookie year with the promotion.
Williams got signed to the UFC after a first-round stoppage win on the 2020 season of “Dana White’s Contender Series.”
