Matt Brown To Face Bryan Barberena At December 4th UFC Event

Bryan Barberena will face a veteran in his next appearance, meeting Matt Brown at UFC’s December 4th show. The new welterweight fight was confirmed recently by MMA DNA.

The location for this fight is not known currently.

Brown is one of the most experienced fighters on the UFC roster. The new booking is set to be his 29th appearance since joining the promotion in 2008 – only nine fighters have fought 29 times or more in the UFC as of Wednesday.

Brown broke a two-fight skid in his last appearance, stopping Dhiego Lima in the second round with punches.

Barberena has lost three of his last five. He lost a majority decision in his last outing, taking a loss to Jason Witt in July. Before then, he secured a scorecard victory over Anthony Ivy in 2020.

UFC’s December 4th card is without a main event at the moment. Here are the fights we have reported for the show thus far.
