Flyweight Emily Whitmire is no longer on the UFC roster, per a report from Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
Whitmire joins a recent group of fighters to depart the roster, as it was reported last week that four fighters had left the promotion.
Whitmire’s UFC run comes to an end after six fights for the promotion. She has recently fallen into a three-fight losing streak, with her last fight being a first-round submission loss to Hannah Goldy in September.
Whitmire joined the promotion in 2017 after competing on Season 26 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” She attained two wins while with the UFC, including a first-round rear naked choke victory over Aleksandra Albu in 2019.
