Cris Cyborg has the chance to continue her dominant run as Bellator Featherweight Champion on November 12th, facing promotional vet Sinead Kavanagh.
Bellator CEO Scott Coker announced the fight on Thursday during an episode of “The MMA Hour.” The fight will headline a card that is set to happen at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA.
Cyborg has gone unbeaten since moving to Bellator from the UFC in 2019. She took Bellator’s 145-pound belt in early 2020, dethroning long-time champ Julia Budd in the fourth round with strikes.
Kavanagh has been part of the Bellator roster since 2016. While her promotional record is an even four wins and four losses, she is currently on a two-fight winning streak. Her fight in November will be her first title bout as a pro.
Kavanagh last competed in October 2020, defeating Katharina Lehner via unanimous decision.
