Joanne Calderwood has been given a new opponent for her November 20th UFC booking. She is now expected to face fellow ranked flyweight Taila Santos, per Brett Okamoto of ESPN. Calderwood was originally scheduled to face Alexa Grasso, who has reportedly withdrawn from their matchup.
The pairing joins a card that is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Santos is currently on a strong run up the flyweight division. She has scored three consecutive victories as of late, taking a unanimous decision win over names like Roxanne Modafferi and Gillian Robertson.
Calderwood has alternated between winning and losing recently, although those outcomes have come against the top names at 125-pounds. Her last fight was in June, where she dropped a split decision to Lauren Murphy.
Five months before then, Calderwood defeated Jessica Eye at UFC 257.
