Hakeem Dawodu will attempt to return to the win column when facing Mike Trizano at UFC’s February 5th event. The new featherweight matchup was first reported by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA.
The fight joins a UFC lineup that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Dawodu had a long five-fight winning streak snapped in June, losing via unanimous decision to the undefeated Movsar Evloev. The fight was only Dawdou’s second loss since joining the promotion in 2018.
Trizano made his return in May, taking a scorecard victory over Ludovit Klein. He was making his first appearance since 2019 when he took his first pro loss to Grant Dawson.
Trizano, a winner on Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” currently has a promotional record of three wins and one loss.
UFC’s February 5th card doesn’t have a main event reported for it currently. The other bout reported for that event thus far is a middleweight bout between Ian Heinisch and Sam Alvey.
