Mike Perry has signed a deal with bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC recently, marking the end of a 15-fight UFC run.
Perry’s signing was first reported by Damon Martin of MMA Fighting on Tuesday.
Perry, 30, joins a roster of many notable MMA fighters that have crossed over into bare-knuckle boxing. This includes Paige VanZant, Jonny Bedford, Melvin Guillard and Hector Lombard.
Perry is leaving the UFC roster after two consecutive losses, having been defeated by Tim Means and Daniel Rodriguez over the past year. He was an active fighter while on the UFC roster, fighting over a dozen times since first joining the promotion in 2016.
Perry fights with a fan-friendly brawler style in MMA, resulting in many of his wins to come via stoppage.
It is not known at the moment when Perry will make his debut for BKFC.
