Andrew Sanchez, winner on Season 23 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” is no longer on the UFC roster. The 10-fight UFC vet was reportedly released from his contract recently, per a report from Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.
Sanchez is departing the roster after suffering two stoppage losses this year. He has faced Makmud Muradov and Bruno Silva this year, being finished in the third round of both fights.
Sanchez first joined the promotion in 2016, defeating Khalil Rountree in the finals of “TUF.” He fought notable names during his run, including appearances against Marvin Vettori and Anthony Smith.
Sanchez is leaving the UFC roster with a promotional record of five wins and five losses.
