UFC’s November 13th card has lost a bout, as Ovince St. Preux has withdrawn from his heavyweight booking against Philipe Lins. News of the canceled bout was first reported by MMA Junkie on Sunday.
The fight was set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
UFC confirmed Tuesday that Lins wouldn’t get a new opponent for Saturday’s card, removing him from the card altogether.
It is not known at the moment why St. Preux withdrew from his fight.
The recent news continues a long struggle for Lins to get a new UFC fight. The former PFL Heavyweight Champion has reportedly had five consecutive bouts thrown out, keeping him sidelined since late 2020
Lins is still in the search for his first UFC win, having lost to Andrei Arlovski and Tanner Boser in previous appearances.
UFC’s November 13th event is currently a 12-fight card. Former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway is set to face Yair Rodriguez in the main event.
