Caio Borralho’s UFC debut is back on the schedule.
Borralho is expected to face Jamie Pickett at UFC’s January 15th card, per a report from Guilherme Cruz and Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.
The bout joins a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
UFC previously attempted to squeeze Borralho’s UFC debut onto a December 18th card, facing Dustin Stoltzfus are middleweight. That bout was later canceled due to visa issues on Borralho’s end.
Borralho secured a UFC contract over the summer, scoring two wins on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series” within a month’s time.
Pickett earned his first UFC win in October, fighting to a unanimous decision win over Laureano Staropoli. He had previously lost two bouts in the promotion.
The main event of UFC’s January 15th event is currently set to be between featherweights Calvin Kattar and Giga Chikadze. Here is the lineup:
