A fight between Terrance McKinney and Fares Ziam has been re-booked, and is now expected to happen at UFC’s February 26th event. News of the new date for the fight was confirmed by Jay Anderson of Cageside Press on Friday.
The fight joins a UFC card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
A fight between McKinney and Ziam was first booked to happen on November 20th. That booking was canceled the day of the event due to COVID-19 protocols.
McKinney will be attempting to build off his UFC debut, which saw him come in on short notice and stop Matt Frevola in just seven seconds with strikes. The fight was his fourth consecutive first-round stoppage win in 2021, including an LFA main event in June.
Ziam is currently on a two-fight winning streak in the UFC. He earned his second win earlier this year, defeating Luigi Vendramini via majority decision.
