UFC Looking To Book Andrea Lee vs. Viviane Araujo For May 14th Event

UFC is currently attempting to book a fight between ranked flyweights Viviane Araujo and Andrea Lee for their May 14th card, per a report from Nolan King, Farah Hannoun and John Morgan of MMA Junkie.

Should the fight be finalized, it will join a “Fight Night” card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.

Araujo will be fighting to get back into the win column. She had a two-fight winning streak broken in May, as Katlyn Chookagian secured a unanimous decision victory over her.

Araujo currently has a strong UFC record of four wins and two losses.

Lee will be fighting to keep her current momentum alive. She secured two finish wins last year, submitting Antonina Shevchenko and earning a corner stoppage victory over Cynthia Calvillo.

The run last year turned things around for Lee, as she had previously carried a three-fight losing streak in the UFC.

The sole other fight reported for UFC’s May 14th event currently is a flyweight bout between Lauren Murphy and Miesha Tate.
