Former UFC fighter Jussier Formiga will make his return to action next month, facing Felipe Bunes in the main event of LFA 124. The fight is set to take place on February 11th from the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Formiga was a long-time UFC fighter, competing 16 times for the promotion from 2012 to 2020. He departed the promotion two years ago after falling into a three-fight losing streak.
Formiga’s last fight saw him get stopped within a round by Alex Perez. Previous losses came against other high-ranked names in the division like Brandon Moreno and Joseph Benavidez.
His appearance in February will be his first time fighting in over a year.
Bunes snapped his own three-fight losing streak in September, submitting Mikael Silander. The fight was his first victory since 2018.
