Bantamweights Pannie Kianzad and Lina Lansberg have been matched for UFC’s April 16th card, per a report from Ashah Tafari of FrontKick.
The matchup joins a rapidly growing “Fight Night” card that doesn’t have a confirmed location currently.
Lansberg will be making her return to action with this booking. She has been out of competition for two years now, with her last fight being back in early 2020 when Sara McMann defeated her on scorecards. The bout broke a two-fight streak of wins that Lansberg had earned in 2019.
Kianzad had a four-fight winning streak broken last year, as Raquel Pennington picked up a unanimous decision win over her. The fight marked her first loss since she re-joined the UFC roster in 2019.
It was reported Tuesday that welterweights Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad will meet in the main event of UFC’s April 16th show. Here is how the updated card looks:
Bout 6: Vicente Luque (21-7-1) vs. Belal Muhammad (20-3) (Welterweight)
Bout 5: Drakkar Klose (11-2-1) vs. Brandon Jenkins (15-8) (Lightweight)
Bout 4: Miguel Baeza (10-2) vs. Dhiego Lima (15-9) (Welterweight)
Bout 3: Rafa Garcia (13-2) vs. Jesse Ronson (21-10) (Welterweight)
