Sergey Khandozhko is scheduled to make his return at UFC’s April 23rd event, facing Dwight Grant in a welterweight bout. News of the matchup was first reported earlier this week by Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.
The matchup is part of a UFC “Fight Night” card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Khandozhko has been out of action since his rookie year with the UFC in 2019.
His first year with the promotion saw him win and lose a bout via decision. This came after a busy career on the regional scene, attaining over 25 pro victories from 2011 to 2018.
Khandozhko was originally set to make his return in 2021, although two bookings fell through for him that year and kept him on the sidelines.
Grant currently has an even UFC record of three wins and three losses. He took a loss in his last appearance, dropping a split decision to Francisco Trinaldo in October 2021.
