Luana Pinheiro’s undefeated UFC run will be put to the test when she fights Jessica Penne at UFC’s April 30th “Fight Night” event. The fight was first reported by Canal do Marinho.
The strawweight matchup has joined a UFC card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Pinheiro has earned two wins since debuting last year. Her first victory for the promotion came with some controversy, as an illegal upkick from Randa Markos forced their fight to end via disqualification in the first round.
Pinheiro’s second win certainly wasn’t as controversial, defeating Sam Hughes via unanimous decision in November.
Penne, a UFC veteran, has yet to lose since making her return.
Penne made her first appearance since 2017 in April 2021, defeating Loopy Godinez via split decision. Four months later, she scored an armbar win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
The main event for UFC’s April 30th event isn’t known at the moment. Here is how the show looks now:
