A clash between two experienced strawweights has been booked for UFC’s May 14th card. That “Fight Night” event is now expected to include a bout between Virna Jandiroba and Angela Hill, per Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The matchup is joining a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Jandiroba has attained three wins and three losses since joining the UFC roster in 2019. Her last fight resulted in a loss, going three rounds against Amanda Ribas for a unanimous decision outcome.
Hill will be battling to break a two-fight skid. Her last appearance was in late 2021, where she lost an airtight split decision to Amanda Lemos. Earlier in the year, she was beaten by Tecia Torres and defeated Ashley Yoder.
