Lead Card (5:00AM EST / 6:00PM SGT) (Bleacher Report App / Youtube)
Bout 1: Rahul Raju (8-6) vs. Drex Zamboanga (9-5) (170 lbs) (MMA Bout)
The first of six MMA bouts on this card will be a fight between Rahul Raju and Drex Zamboanga.
Zamboanga had a successful ONE debut in 2020, submitting Detchadin Sorsirisuphathin in the second round of their fight. Now returning for the first time in over a year, he will search for a win on the prelims.
Raju, an eight-fight ONE vet, is riding the momentum of a submission win he scored over Otgonbaatar Nergui last year. That bout snapped a two-fight skid for him.
Bout 2: Yibu Jiduo vs. Daniel Puertas (135 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)
The first kickboxing fight of the evening sees ONE newcomer Yibu Jiduo face Daniel Puertas.
Puertas, a former K-1 Japan kickboxer, is searching for his first win in ONE. He lost his promotional debut late last year, dropping a decision to Panpayak Jitmuangnon. Puertas was at one point scheduled to fight Rodtang Jitmuangnon in 2021, although that fight never happened.
There is little information online regarding Yibu. His appearance on Friday will be his first for the Singapore-based promotion.
Bout 3: Yuri Simoes (0-1) vs. Daniyal Zainalov (7-0) (205 lbs) (MMA Bout)
Searching for his first victory in MMA, grappling expert Yuri Simoes will face Daniyal Zainalov.
Simoes lost his pro debut in 2020, getting beat by Fan Rong via unanimous decision. This was quite a tough first opponent for him, as Fan entered the bout with 15 pro wins already.
This next fight is still a hard bout for Simoes. Zainalov is making his ONE debut with an undefeated record of seven wins. This fight will be his first appearance in over two years, as his last fight dates back to late 2019.
Bout 4: Diandra Martin vs. Smilla Sundell (128 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)
Friday’s card only has one Muay Thai fight. The show was scheduled to have a Muay Thai title matchup on the main card, although that fight was pulled. The challenger for that bout, Jamal Yusupov, reportedly had to withdraw from his fight against Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy after not being medically cleared to compete.
So, the only Muay Thai bout on Friday is a catchweight fight between Diandra Martin and Smilla Sundell. The fight is the ONE debut for both fighters.
Bout 5: Chris Shaw vs. Vladimir Kuzmin (145 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)
Kickboxer Vladimir Kuzmin will attempt to make a splash in his ONE debut when facing Chris Shaw.
Shaw is making his first appearance in over two years. His ONE debut was in early 2020, where Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym beat him on scorecards.
Kuzmin competed in RCC’s kickboxing division last year, attaining two wins with them in 2021.
Bout 6: Zebaztian Kadestam (12-7) vs. Valmir da Silva (8-1) (185 lbs) (MMA Bout)
Zebaztian Kadestam will attempt to snap a three-fight losing streak when facing Valmir da Silva in the final prelim bout.
Kadestam, a former champ, has lost three consecutive fights since 2019. His last defeat came against undefeated prospect Murad Ramazanov, who beat him via decision just two months ago.
Da Silva has the chance to beat a former champ in his ONE debut. He is joining the roster after attaining a strong eight wins and one loss on the regional scene in Brazil.
Main Card (7:30AM EST / 8:30PM SGT) (Bleacher Report App / Youtube)
Bout 7: Fabricio de Andrade (6-2) vs. Jeremy Pacatiw (11-4) (145 lbs) (MMA Bout)
The main card will kick off with a fight between Fabricio de Andrade and Jeremy Pacatiw under MMA rules.
De Andrade has yet to lose since joining the ONE roster in 2020. He picked up his third victory for the promotion in December, securing a first-round stoppage victory over the returning Li Kai Wen.
Pacatiw is riding the momentum of a successful ONE debut from last year, beating Chen Rui on scorecards.
Bout 8: Guto Inocente vs. Bruno Susano (265 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)
Former UFC fighter and GLORY Kickboxer Guto Inocente will make his first ONE appearance when facing Bruno Susano.
Many will recognize Inocente for his GLORY Kickboxing run from 2016 to 2018. He has fought around the regional MMA scene in recent years, including two stoppage wins last year.
Susano lost his ONE debut in 2021, being on the losing side of a stoppage win for Rade Opacic. He has bounced back since then, earning a win on a SuperKombat card later that year.
Bout 9: Enriko Kehl vs. Tayfun Ozcan (155 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)
ONE vet Enriko Kehl will return once again to face Tayfun Ozcan on the main card. Both fighters will be attempting to bounce back from a loss they took in ONE’s eight-man kickboxing tournament last year.
Kehl had a two-fight winning streak broken in October, was Davit Kiria picked up a first-round finish win over him. Before then he had two wins, including a split decision he picked up against Chingiz Allazov earlier in the year.
Ozcan fought on that same card, losing a fight to Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong via split decision. This was his ONE debut after a long and successful stint in Netherland-based promotion Enfusion.
Bout 10: Aung La N Sang (27-12) vs. Vitaly Bigdash (11-2) (205 lbs) (MMA Bout)
The long-awaited trilogy fight between Aung La N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash will happen on Friday night. ONE tried to book this fight both in 2020 and 2021, although it will likely finally come to fruition this weekend.
La N Sang and Bigdash fought twice in 2017. Bigdash was first able to take a belt off La N Sang, but five months later he lost in the rematch. Now numerous years later, they meet again.
La N Sang lost his champion status in recent years, losing two title fights to Reinier de Ridder since 2020. He has returned to the win column since then, stopping Leandro Ataides in the first round of a fight in July 2021.
Bigdash won in his return to the cage in December, submitting Fan Rong in the third round of a bout. This was his first appearance in three years.
Bout 11: Roman Kryklia vs. Murat Aygun (ONE Kickboxing Light Heavyweight Championship) (225 lbs)
In the first of two title fights on the card, Roman Kryklia will attempt to defend his kickboxing championship against Murat Aygun. ONE has lined Kryklia up with Aygun numerous times in the past, although the bout is finally happening for the first time on this card.
Kryklia first earned his belt in 2019, stopping Tarik Khbabez with strikes. He has since defended the title once, beating Andrei Stoica in late 2020 via decision.
Aygun has won once in ONE, defeating Anderson Braddock Silva in 2020. This victory added to a long career he has as a kickboxer, stretching over a decade around the world.
Bout 12: Reinier de Ridder (14-0) vs. Kiamrian Abbasov (23-4) (ONE MMA Middleweight Championship) (205 lbs)
Two-division champ Reinier de Ridder will attempt to defend a belt for the first time in Friday’s main event. Putting his 205-pound title on the line, de Ridder will battle 185-pound champ Kiamrian Abbasov.
De Ridder has an undefeated record of 14 wins, with five of those wins coming from his run in ONE. He earned his first championship in 2020, securing a quick first-round submission win against long-time titleholder Aung La N Sang. He then moved up a division and earned another belt in 2021, defeating La N Sang via unanimous decision.
Abbasov has picked up four wins since joining ONE. He became their 185-pound champ in 2019, dethroning Zebaztian Kadestam in a five-round unanimous decision. He returned in 2020 to defend his belt for the first time, abruptly stopping James Nakashima in the fourth round with strikes. He will now move up 20 pounds for his fight on Friday.
No matter what happens on Friday night, somebody will exit as a two-division champion. Will it be de Ridder who retains this status? Or will Abbasov be able to make a statement in the fight?
