Omar Morales will move up a weight class to face Uros Medic at UFC’s May 21st event. The lightweight matchup was confirmed recently by Triangle TV.
The new fight has joined a “Fight Night” card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Morales is returning to lightweight after a three-fight run down at featherweight. He attained one win and two losses through these appearances.
Morales’ last fight saw him suffer a second-round rear naked choke submission against Jonathan Pearce.
Medic will be fighting to bounce back from his sole pro loss. He took this defeat in September 2021, getting submitted in the first round of a fight by Jalin Turner.
